Shot Blasting

Shot Blasting refers to the process of removing substances from a metallic surface using devices such as spinning paddles or air guns. The materials commonly used include silicon carbide granules, sand and small steel balls. It is a method used to clean, strengthen and polish metals. The process is widely used in almost every industry type including construction, aerospace, foundry, automotive, ship building rail and many others. The process of shot blasting works on two different technologies such as air blasting and wheel blasting.

Metallizing
It is a very common coating process in which a thin-metallic film is deposited on the surface of non-metallic objects. The process is applied in many industries, such as aerospace, electrical, defense, automotive, oil & gas and solar product manufacturing.

What are the different types of blasting?

Blasting is the techniques of removing dust, coating, polishing of different surfaces. There are many types of blasting process available according to the requirement like shot peening blasting. It puts small dents on the surface to give a finish where required and helps in wear resistance of the surface. The different types of blasting: Soda blasting Shot Grit Blasting Steel sandblasting Glass Bead blasting Bristle blasting Water blasting Air Blasting Sand abrasive blasting There is most common way of blasting and we called it sand blasting. It uses small grains of garnet for removing coating or polishing a surface.
